The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
This is going to be the last time I'm going to force myself to read something I shouldn't be reading!
Firstly, I'm not supposed to read this book, but my brother spent such a hard time searching, and his futile but kind efforts to bring a book for me is really appreciated. Secondly, I'm not convinced that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone does not make J.K. Rowling good. Why? Well, it's because I feel like throwing up every time I think that J. K. Rowling has written this book.
The story is about a group of people: both children and adults swearing and cursing at each other without any sort of organization, or rationality. Krystal, one of my least favourite characters earns the award for swearing the most. Honestly, the word provocation was simply repetitive. But however, the swearing in the book definitely was earning my provocation. Aside from all that, I advice you, never read a book written by J. K. Rowling because it was written by her.
Seriously? Is this book really written by the same author as my favourite series? Oh Lord of Books, please tell me this isn't true!
