The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson, the heroic son of Poseidon,is on another wild goose chase. This time, the tree of Thalia,Zeus daughter, which protects the camp has been poisoned and Percy, along with his friends will have to retrieve the Golden Fleece before Camp Half-Blood is destroyed.

I apologize for making the review on the story so short. Before I start with praising the book,I'd like to tell one thing. This isn't as good as the others. The Sea of Monsters is like a retelling of The Odyssey. Though this is quite good,it's not as good as the previous book.It was kind of copied similar to the story of Odyssey and I happened to read it before I started this series. But there is no denial that this book is good and there are many parts that I enjoyed.

Once again, the same question arises, what will I do if I were in his place?Honestly,I think I would either be in the Underworld or I'd be in the closet hiding. But Riordan has made sure that Percy faces all the dangers courageously and not turn his back at his friends. This is what makes me praise this book(the story too) and makes me want to read the next ones.
